Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a genuine leading manufacturer that supply into a diverse range of industries across the world including automotive, defence and power. They are at the forefront of innovation and quality within their industry andnow require a Mechanical Fitter to join its engineering function. The role will be working a 2shift pattern.Benefits Package:

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting manufacturing by maintaining equipment and machinery by carrying out PPM and breakdowns
  • Problem solve, and fault find on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems
  • Work on a variety of equipment including robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, bearings, belts, pumps, and valves
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Full apprenticeship
  • Ideally ONC/HNC qualification
  • Previous manufacturing experience is essential
