Job Description

This Material Planner role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement and supply chain activities within an industrial/manufacturing setting. Manage and oversee the procurement and supply chain activities.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand the needs and requirements.
Develop and implement strategies for inventory management.
Mitigate supply chain risks and manage supplier relationships.
Analyse and resolve any arising issues in procurement processes.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Profile

At least 12 months experience in a similar manufacturing planning role.
Good working knowledge of an ERP system
Proven skills in resource scheduling and procurement activities.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration
