Job Description

Role for large international successful organisation with continued growth and success.Client DetailsA world leader in its field who manufacture premium products to fulfil all customers needs.DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Review MRP recommendations to produce purchase orders, works orders and schedules in a timely manner
  • Review and set target stock levels using sales and forecast data
  • Planning and scheduling deliveries/Production to achieve targeted stock levels, and ensure high levels of customer service
  • Ensure the accuracy of order completion/delivery dates
  • Maintain and manage supplier account/relationships
  • Effective communication with Customer Services and Production
  • Monitor and measure delivery performance by supplier
  • Assist users and produce purchase orders for non-stock items
  • Assist the Material Planning Manager with any other duties that may be required
  • Ensure that the Health & Safety requirements of the Company are met at all times. Identifying any potential safety issues
Profile~The successful candidate will have
  • MRP2 principles
  • MRP working knowledge
  • Capacity planning experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship
  • MRP System understanding (key user level), ideally BAAN or M3 experience
  • Ability to demonstrate technical understanding and enthusiasm
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and influence Self-reliant, hardworking, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Data driven and good at dealing with data in principle
  • High Customer Focus Teamwork Responsiveness
