Working for a recently acquired subsidiary of a manufacturing business and reporting to the Group FinancialController, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and all financial reporting activities for this recently acquired business.Main responsibilities:* No. 1 on site for Finance* Month end accruals and prepayments * Sales analysis reporting* Produce the companys quarterly VAT returns* Assisting with budget and forecasting processes* Control stock valuation reporting, and assist in quarterly stocktakes* Provide support for purchase ledger and sales ledger, including managing payment runs * Managing the credit insurance policy * Monthly reporting pack* Cash book management and bank reconciliations * Balance Sheet reconciliations* Reporting performance of the site to Head Office* Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures* Assist with Year End statutory audits* Other month end dutiesThe successful candidate will have a strong background working as a Management Accountant, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence atall levels.
