Maintenance Engineer (packaging equipment)Newport£30,200 P/A + 34% shift allowance + Overtime 1.5xbase Mon-Sat + 2.0xbase Sunday + Pension + Health care for you and your partner + 16.6 12-hour shift holidays per year +8 & if rest days fall on b/hol you get an extra days holiday.2days 2nights 4off 12 hour shifts 6-6Maintenance engineer sought within a Newport based special purpose pharmaceutical manufacturer who are going through a large period of growth and are offering continuous training and career progression to the successful candidate.The position will be suited to experienced mutli-skilled mechanically biased maintenance engineers who come from any FMCG background. Exposure to cartoning, and high-speed case packaging machines is highly desirable.The role of maintenance engineer will be the mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance of all packing machinery onsite which will be an 80/20 split in favour of mechanical. You will predominantly be working on cartoning machines, high speed case packing machines, conveyors, checkweighers and capping machines however you will not be limited to this.
