Lead Paediatric Psychologist & Lead Clinician of the Avoidant and Restrictive Feeding Intake Disorder Service (ARFID).As the result of a successful pilot service run as a collaboration between Paediatrics and ED-SCAMHS, we are excited to offer an opportunity to apply for the post of Lead Paediatric Psychologist & Lead Clinician of the Avoidant and Restrictive Feeding Intake Disorder Service (ARFID) for children and young people within ABUHB.The service will be closely aligned with colleagues within Paediatrics, Eating Disorders Specialist- CAMHS and the CONNECT service (Children and Young Peoples weight management service).The post holder will lead the team to develop, deliver and support an end to end proactive, preventative and responsive clinical pathway for Children and Young People who may be at risk of developing or are living with ARFID. As part of this work they will provide specialist assessments and bespoke intervention plans; training, supervision and direct collaborative support for clinicians within community services to support their clinical practice with Children and Young People with ARFID.The post holder will also deliver a direct intervention service for the children and families who have the most complex needs either in individual or group interventions.As a Paediatric Psychologist you will be able to access wider support from the Child and Family Psychology Service in ABUHB who offer a:
