Job Description

Our client, an award-winning architectural practice, are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join their expanding team in Newport. The successful Landscape Architect should have some experience within a practice or consultancy, although Landscape Architectsat all levels are encouraged to apply. Our client offer a fantastic benefits package and are a motivated team that work on a variety of exciting projects in a wide range of sectors.Landscape Architect Position Overview

  • Working as part of a dynamic and creative team
  • Carrying out site visits and assessments
  • Concept and detailed design work
  • Involved in all aspect of projects working within the team
  • Working on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
  • Leading a team involved in the production on working drawings for detailed planning or construction packages
  • Preparing and organising supporting documents
  • Producing hand drawings and computer generated sketches / concepts for a variety of schemes
  • Run projects (subject to seniority)
  • Attending public, client and team meetings
Landscape Architect Position Requirements
  • Minimum 1 years UK experience
  • Creative individual with strong design skills
  • Live within a commutable distance of Newport
  • Qualified Landscape Architect
  • Good written skills
  • Proficient in Vectorworks, Keyscape, Indesign, Sketchup advantageous
  • Experience of working in a range of sectors such as residential, recreation, commercial and education, from concept design through to technical detailing also advantageous
  • Enthusiastic, well-organised and pro-active
Landscape Architect Position Remuneration
  • Competitive salary (£30,000 - £40,000 DOE)
