Job Description

Seeking the skills set of an experienced lead planning professionalWhat you’ll be doing as a Project PlannerYou will be an experienced individual in delivering high value, complex change portfolio within agreed time, cost and quality constraints demonstrating that you have:Proven track record of delivering within a structured CMO/ PMO environment delivering a variety /portfolio of IT projects / change initiatives across multiple disciplines (IT/Business/DataPrevious experience of working within a role establishing and driving improvement and embedding new ways of working within an organisation associated with centralised coordination, delivery and management of project led changeComfortable in providing Leadership and direction to cross functional teamsA CI mindset that establishes, drives and embeds new ways of working within an organisationassociated with centralised coordination, delivery and management of project led changePlanning, monitoring and control of full end to end of project delivery cycle from initiation to closure.Experience of tailoring project delivery and associated governance according to size, scale and complexity of taskIn-depth knowledge of project management principles and PM software (such as MS project, Azure Dev/Op’s or Jira)Expert planning skills to adeptly produce a wide range of scenarios within a complex and wide ranging delivery portfolioExperience of working within project teams formed of both internal and external stakeholders and complex relationshipsWhat the successful Portfolio Planner will bring to the team·APMQ or equivalent·Experience of controlling successful Programmes·Strong understanding of change management practicesHere’s What You’ll Get in Return as a Project PlannerThe successful Portfolio Planner will receive the following endless benefits:·£39,123 - £58,208·A flexible working scheme which has no core hours and excellent opportunities for home, part-time and term-time working;·A very generous pension scheme, with low employee contributions;·Eligibility for special and office-wide bonus payments;·Excellent development opportunities;·Opportunities for secondments, both internal and external;·Opportunities to join many civil-service clubs such as the Sports and Social Association, Motoring Club (CSMA), which provide numerous discounts to members·A limited number of free car parking spaces are available on site;·Use of facilities that we share with ONS.
