Job Description

**Are you someone who has a passion for working with children****Are you a qualified IT Teacher looking for flexible work in the Newport area**Academics are currently recruiting for a qualified IT Teacher to work with an excellent Secondary school in the centre of Newport. This is a full time position, due to start immediately and a strong chance of the role extending into a permanent position. This vacancy would also be an excellent opportunity for both Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) as well as moreexperienced teachers.You will have the ability to teach with patience and tact, and to create a supportive learning environment which will help your students meet their learning goals. Through interesting and diverse methods, youll devleop a full understanding of the IT syllabus.The right candidate will also provide a creative and exciting learning environment whereby pupils are motivated and encouraged to show ambition, to maximise their potential, and to embrace all aspects of school life in order to develop a wide-ranging skillset.IT Teacher requirements include:

  • A genuine passion for IT
  • Leading rates of pay
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and secondary age pupils
  • Experience of teaching KS3 & KS4
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • In possession of a clear DBS and registered with the EWC
