Job Description

About the Gas Installations EngineerRole:We are looking for an enthusiastic Gas Engineer to join our team. Enjoy life on the road, meet great people, and deliver an exceptional service that brings a smile to our customers’ faces.We’ll even kit you out with all the tools you’ll need to do the job; that’s up to £3k worth of gear.We are offering:

  • Salary: £36,545.75 (with potential to earn extra with on-call and overtime available)
  • Hours: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern working 6:00am-18:00pm (40 hours per week)
  • Job Type: Full time and Permanent Contract
  • Location: 1 Junction Cut Road Alexandra Docks, Newport, NP20 2RZ
Heres What You Can Expect To Be Doing As our Gas Installations Engineer:
  • Installing a variety of gas, electrical and domestic appliances
  • Ensuring safety is front and centre and always adhering to industry guidelines
  • Delivering top-notch customer service
  • Upholding Safe Systems of Work (SSWs)
  • Driving a 3.5T vehicle
  • Physically moving items weighing up to 150kg as part of a team of two
A Few Things About OurGas Installations Engineer:
  • Full UK/EU driving licence· No more than 6 points on your licence
  • CCN1 & CKR1
  • To be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes
  • At least 1 year of experience within gas installations
Desirable
  • Some experience of installation of electrical appliances would be ideal, but well train you to be electrically competent and gain qualifications - LPG, CENWAT
