  • Full time roles (Monday-Friday: 8.30-3.30)
  • £306-£400 weekly pay

What will you be doing as a "Future Teacher" Teaching AssistantOur Future Teacher roles offer you the chance to gain experience within a school to ensure you are making the right choice when choosing to pursue a career in teaching/education.If you are applying for a PGCE then working with us as a Teaching Assistant will provide you with invaluable classroom experience that will look great on any future applications. Having real experiences within schools that you can talk about in detail willnot only help you stand out to competitors but also make any experience-based questions in interviews a lot easier!The Future Teacher role will allow you to develop as a Teaching Assistant, but also gain experience working as a Cover Supervisor teaching your specialist subject to small groups.
  • Take direction from teachers and other staff members
  • Provide in class support during lessons
  • lead activities for small groups
  • 1:1 support for children with additional learning needs
  • In time you will have the opportunity to lead lessons in your specialist subject
  • Shadow teachers to see how they manage a classroom and learn behaviour management techniques
You will also gain experience supporting students with Additional Learning Needs, if this is something of particular interest to you and you have ALN experience then please let us know.No teaching experience is necessary, although prior experience working with children isdesirable.You should also fit the following criteria:
  • A degree /A-levels within your subject area
  • The desire to become a qualified Secondary School Teacher in the future
  • You must be a motivated, reliable and approachable individual
