Read on for more details.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* Preparing monthly management accounts.* Make reconciled supplier payments.* Bank reconciliation.* Carry out credit control duties.* Reconcile sales ledger.* Monitor cashflow and client limits.* Process payroll, including monthly submissions, payments, and PAYE year end.* Liaising with company accountants to prepare P11Ds and year end.* Monitoring prices and costs and looking for cost reduction opportunities, working with the quantity surveyor, estimating team and stores.* Compile and submit HMRC returns including VAT, PAYE and CIS within required deadline.* Process Director expenses.* Keep track of HP agreements, stock, and plant.* Analyse data and provide reports as required.* Performing other duties as and when required.Skills and requirements:* Demonstrable knowledge of mathematics, accountancy, both VAT and DRV VAT, payroll and CIS.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Excellent interpersonal skills.* Ability to work as a member of a team.* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.* Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to act ethically with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.* Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts.* Due to the nature of the contracts undertaken, office based is essential.* A full enhanced disclosure will be provided prior to start date.Preferred:* A good understanding of the construction industry.* 3+ years experience in a similar role.5% 3% PensionOffice Based20 days plus BHPlease apply
