Job Description

Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer Location: WalesSalary: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependant on experience)Metalis are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. As a company committed to excellence, our client are looking for individuals who share our passion for delivering top-notchservice and solutions to our clients. All engineers will be required to cover UK regional areas.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field service repairs and maintenance on a variety of construction equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in plant machinery.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements:
  • Valid driving license (essential).
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer is essential.
  • Proven experience in servicing construction equipment.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends. Weekend is paid at an enhanced rate.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and engines.
Salary & Benefits
  • £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
  • 5 hour standard working week
