Job Description

With a turnover of €2.2 billion, RUBIX is the largest supplier of industrial maintenance & distribution network in Europe. Present in 23 countries with more than 8000 employees.The purpose of the role is to work as part of the Engineering Services team repairing, modifying and assembling rotational equipment including, industrial gearboxes, pumps compressors and motors and other industrial equipment as required. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring planned maintenance and ad hoc requests are completed to customer expectations and engineering standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMain Tasks and Deliverables:

  • Disassembly and accurate re-assembly of industrial equipment.
  • Performing planned and predictive maintenance.
  • Assessing need for spare parts
  • Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload wherever necessary.
  • Ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.
  • Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation, Company policy and Company procedures.
  • Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.
  • Maintain the required standards of housekeeping.
  • Support other teams and functions as required by the business.
  • Undertake self-development activities as required by the business.
  • Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by your line manager.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.
  • Liaise with Coordinator to establish requirements
  • Conforming to health and safety procedures and policies.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in a Rotational discipline.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent, preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Industrial Gearboxes and Motors, multi skilled in basic Electrical Practices
  • It is preferred that the role holder have knowledge of;

  • Couplings and their Application
  • Able to build relationships
  • Strong customer facing and communication skills
