Job Description

Electrical engineer required to work for a well-respected, financially secure manufacturing business that offers excellent working conditions. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team and get to work on varied projects basedaround upgrades and improvements. You will earn a competitive salary and benefits package inclusive of:

  • Compressed working hours scheme - you can achieve 45 days of leave per year if you work an additional 30 minutes per day (for this role the hours would be 7:30am-4pm Monday to Friday) and accrue an additional day of leave that can be taken the followingmonth.
Electrical engineer duties will include:
  • Ensuring integrity and reliability of equipment and assets
  • Creating effective planned maintenance strategies
  • Being involved in overseeing the safe operation of HV systems on site
  • Providing advice and guidance to technicians
  • Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of complex solutions
  • Reading, interpreting and checking technical drawings and engineering flow diagrams
  • Managing spares programs
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contractor safety management
To apply for the electrical maintenance engineer, you will need:
  • A degree level qualification in a relevant engineering subject
  • Relevant experience in a technical / manufacturing setting
  • HV experience (up to 11KV) preferably having completed authorised person training
