Senior Devops Engineers / Ambitious Junior DevOps engineersIm currently recruiting for brilliant Senior, Mid-Level and Junior Devops engineers.This a brilliant opportunity to continue your career with a forward-thinking organisation with true flexible working, commitment to training and development, and fantastic benefits.Working in Agile environments, within an established team, these roles provide an opportunity to turn innovative ideas into business differentiation using modern technologies and delivery platforms.We are keen to speak to candidates who are happy to be onsite in Newport 1 - 2 days per week, once normal working practices resume.Skills and ExperienceTraining will be provided for skills gaps High level understanding of DevOps principles and experience of working in a DevOps cultureExcellent knowledge and proven experience implementing continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD) and integration application monitoring toolsKnowledge and experience in administration and configuration CI/CD pipeline automation tools such as Azure DevOps (preferred), Jenkins, Github, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy.Experience with automated testing and embedding this in CI/CD pipelines.Good understanding of Azure Infrastructure Services, Azure Platform Services and Azure Active DirectoryGood understanding of Azure security controls, capabilities and best practicesExperience in managing and supporting distributed Source code repositories including GitGood knowledge of API-driven, extensible, loosely coupled systemsExperience in managing, supporting and implementing containers hosted on platform such as Docker and Kubernetes.Service support expertise including identification, location and fixing of faults.Experience in identification and tracking of risks and issues.Strong scripting skills and/or experience of code languages (such as Python, YAML, Bash, PowerShell, Java or .Net)Experience with static code analysis and security scan tools (such as SonarQube, Veracode).Experience with automated testing tools such as PostMan, Selenium, Browser Stack, SpecFlow, JMeter.Experience of building and deploying Java and .Net applicationsExperience with artefact storage and package management tools like Azure Artifacts or ArtifactoryExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools (such as Terraform, Ansible).Experience of using monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, VMWare Log Insight, ELK stack.Domain expertise of deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure .Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques and principles.Knowledge of OpenShift Container PlatformExperience of knowledge sharing and mentoring junior membersIf this is you, get in touch today!
