If you share our passion, we want to speak with you.The RoleAn exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security ProjectController has arisen for a within Airbus Cyber Security in Newport, South Wales.Reporting directly to the Project Manager you will provide project office support to the Project.You will be responsible for project planning, organising, controlling and reporting on assigned deliverables.You will track, review and report on issues that impact the Project / Programme and generate regular project reports for internal and customer use.You will work closely with other groups with Project or Programme Responsibilities to ensure processes, standards and guidelines are available to the programme.You will deputise for the Project Manager as required, in internal and external (including customer facing) situations.You will ensure project control practice through ERP System (SAP), MS Project and associated PM tools for all aspects of project activity.Tasks & Accountabilities- Proactively develop WBS to generate and maintain Project plans, work packages and schedules- Develop and implement structures and processes for project performance monitoring- Facilitate monitoring of Project Costs and Financial Planning and Tracking- Advise senior Programme / Project Management of deviations to plan regarding programme, finance and resource status, enabling forecasting of costs to complete- Programme / Project Management SupportCollation and supply of information through the Project lifecycleSupporting team leads with resource forward loadingWBS based reporting and analysisIssues managementSupport with a view to running project management aspects of the programmeCo-ordinating and facilitating programme workshops / events (i.e. project start-up, road shows etc)- Programme / Project status reportingProviding Project/ Workstream / Work-package input to weekly reportsPlanning of updates and progress reportingYour Skills and Experience:- Project office / project management qualification - e.g. PMI , PRINCE 2 Foundation, ISEB Certificate in Programme and Project Support Office- Working knowledge of Microsoft project- This role would suit someone with 1 to 3 years experience- Ability to coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously, and to prioritise and work to tight deadlines- Firm understanding of work package management and work package control- Knowledge of risk management principles- Familiar with Gantt, Pert and dependency charts- A structured /methodical approach to all planning/tracking tasksIn return we can offer a great compensation package with annual profit share; a growing list of company benefits and career development options across our transnational, market leading companyThis role is based at our Airbus Defence and Space offices, Newport, South Wales, and involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicant to be able to be security cleared to a UK SC level.We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
