Continuous Improvement Engineer 18389/611South Wales £35,000 - £40,000 A well-established food manufacturer, who have doubled their production capacity over the last 12 months, are recruiting a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the South Wales region. The business supplies into major retailers across the UK and are looking to build and sustain their success from the last year. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about process improvement, to come into a forward-thinking company and impact production performance. Role & Responsibilities:*This person will be solely responsible for the Continuous Improvement across the whole site. *You will be required to implement process improvements to ensure that production is running smoothly and efficiently. *Organise, implement, maintain and improve production process flows*Work closely with engineering and production to ensure that equipment reliability and repeatability is maintained at the optimum level*Implementing Lean Manufacturing systems, 5S principles and Kaizen across the production facility. *This is a standalone role, where you will be reporting into the Plant Manager and the Operations Director. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment would be advantageous. *Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S Principles and Kaizen is essential.*Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with a good understanding of food manufacturing processes.*A proven track record of implementing improvements in processes and operational effectiveness.
