Job Description

Recruit 121 is working with a well established and well-known brand to recruit a Business Change Manager to help as the business continues its growth and development in the FinTech sector.ROLE PURPOSE

  • Provides strong leadership and drives a single change agenda in support of the Society’s strategy.
  • Leads the Portfolio Review Forum.
  • Leads on developing and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement across all areas of the business.
  • Has responsibility for managing key business events that sit within the Operations functions.
  • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Lead the Business Change team, made up of Project Managers, Business Analysts, CI consultants and associates as well as PMO responsibilities.
  • Manage the Change portfolio made up of formal and informal, complex and simple change initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver a wide range of projects across the Society encompassing, strategic, regulatory and operational change.
  • Identify, build and oversee Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Society.
  • Work closely with members of the Operations Management Team to manage effective prioritisation of Business Operational Events (such as regulatory returns, key annual operations events etc.), driving a consistent, repeatable, best practice approach.
  • Ensure that Business Events are well planned, meet risk and compliance requirements, are delivered successfully on time, to business standards and in line with the Change Governance Framework.
  • Ensure that changes that affect operational business are data-driven and provide positive Customer outcomes, in line with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all projects that are initiated are valid, adequately structured and provide positive contributions to the strategic vision of the Society.
  • Project Manager change initiatives according to the Change Management Framework.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the business on all Change & CI matters.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the strategic planning process ensuring capacity and capability planning.
  • Producing portfolio performance and insight for on-reporting via governance committees.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with the companies Change Management Framework, with supporting reporting to Portfolio Review Forum, Operational Risk Committee and Risk Committee
  • Maintenance and ongoing evolution of the companies Change Management Framework, including supporting governance for ongoing review and approval by Risk Committee.
  • Develop and embed a Continuous Improvement Culture across the company.
  • THE PERSON
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience preferably within the financial service industry
  • Relevant higher-level qualification e.g. HND, NVQ 5, Degree…
  • Substantial experience in a broad range of Change Management including the successful delivery of complex change programmes.
  • Proficient in all MS packages
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Track record of seeing opportunities for improvement and driving forward change
  • Collaborative with colleagues and stakeholders and adept at building excellent relationships.
