Teaching Assistant1:1 Autism Support£325 - £400 a weekStart date: 2nd September 2022Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a partnership Secondary school in Newport.We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 7 pupil with Autism.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be given a fixed-term contract starting in September and continuing through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of this becoming permanent.This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be required to work between the hours 08:3015:30.Working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a Year 7 pupil with Autism.The salary for this position will be between£325 - £400 a week(depending on your experience).This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is looking to invest in you with CPD training opportunities.To help prepare you for the role Teaching Personnel will also offerContinuous Professional Development (CPD) coursesanda Level 2 Safeguarding Course.About the SchoolThe successful Teaching Assistant will join a thriving, popular and oversubscribed 11-18 secondary school situated in Newport, South Wales with a population of just over 1500 students.
