Job Description

As a qualified Audit Senior, you will be assisting the directors and managers in the management and delivery of statutory audit services for the Owner Managed Business Client portfolio with the below key tasks being carried out.Client DetailsA well-established, top-20 company that offers the best of both worlds by combining the expertise of a large firm with the personal service of a local practice.   • Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
  • Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of trainees
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
  • Identifying cross selling opportunities
  • Monitoring stock takes, managing bank letter processes and completing AFF (Assignment Feedback Forms) where appropriate
  • Communicating to management on the progress of workload and planning for efficient completion
Profile
  • Previous experience as an Accounts Senior within an accounting firm.
  • Knowledge of Iris and Xero preferred, but not essential.
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word are essential.
  • Experience of using cloud based accountancy software

Qualifications:
  • Either ACA or ACCA qualified, however part qualified could be considered
