You will also supervise HCSW’s at Band 2&3.You will be a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team, providing high quality care to patients in our ward settings. You will support the nurses by providing clinical nursing support and enhancing the quality of hands on care. You will work without direct supervision, with delegated responsibilities from the Registered Nurse which could include wound care, blood glucose monitoring, ECG recording, vital observations and NEWS, cannulation.You will be caring, compassionate, enthusiastic, dedicated and competent at Level 4.Based at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, there are openings on our scheduled care wards, which include Trauma & Orthopaedics and Surgical.
