Area Sales Manager - Heavyside Building ProductsArea: South West - BS BA CF NP SN SP DT TA EX PL TR WR HR LD SAThe Role of Area Sales ManagerThis is a fully remote field sales role where you will be working from home / in the field. As an Area Sales Manager you will develop excellent relationships with national and independent Builders Merchants & specialist Merchants such as Travis Perkins,Jewsons & SIG. You will be responsible for circa 100 customers with a collective spend of about £3M. The successful Area Sales Manager will track and identify projects and build relationships with Roofing Contractors and back sell via the Merchant channel.As Area Sales Manager you will be tasked with growing existing accounts demonstrating good relationship building and negotiating skills. My client are open an happy to looking at Area Sales Managers, Account Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Field SalesExecutives, Business Development Managers etc. from other industries. Applicants that have sold into retail or distribution from other industries such as FMCG would be of interest.   • We are looking for a professional, well presented, graduate calibre candidate with a career minded attitude
  • Candidates that that have sold into retail, merchants i.e. FMCG are of interest
  • We are looking for a good organised, positive individual that is able to work collaboratively and follow process.
  • Merchant Sales Representatives looking to take the next step are welcome to apply as are field sales outside of the industry.
  • This is likely be somebodys 2nd or 3rd sales role.
  • We are looking for an Area Sales Manager that knows their figures. An understanding of gap analysis, margins and P&L is preferred.
