Working alongside a qualified Technician, this role will see you gradually learn the required skills to service,repair and maintain vehicles, whilst working towards your NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.You will be provided with on the job training by your colleagues, managers will be joining a supportive and very friendly team at Newport.What your day to day might look like:+ Providing assistance to a qualified Technician through vehicle servicing works+ Participating in on-the-job training to pick up the required skills to independently complete vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance activities+ Working as part of a team, providing assistance as and when required to a team of qualified Technicians+ Ensuring all workshop activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements+ Participating in ongoing training and development with the manufacturer in line with the apprenticeship programmeAbout you:To join our manufacturer Apprenticeship Programme, it is essential that you have gained Grade C/ Level 4 in GCSE Maths, English and Science.As an entry level role, we dont require previous experience, but look for people who can demonstrate:+ Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with others+ Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines+ A commitment to the Marshall Values of People, Customers, Integrity and InnovationReady to join the largest car company in the worldSince Toyotas foundation, we have acted in accordance with our Guiding Principles to produce reliable vehicles and the sustainable development of society through ever-changing innovation and the provision of high-quality products and services.Toyota will lead the future mobility society, enriching lives around the world with the safest and most responsible ways of moving people.
