Job Description

Job Title: Angular Developer (work from home)Red is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of the largest specialist legal conveyancing companies in the UK. Based in Newport, Wales, our client are seeking an Angular Developer to join the expanding team on a permanent basis. Due to this position being home based, you can live anywhere in the UK.Salary: £50K-£55K depending on experienceHours: Weekdays, 9.00am to 5.00pm (37.5 hour week)Location: Newport/Work from homeAs an Angular Developer, you will report into the IT Manager and will be responsible for developing systems to support cutting edge technology within the sphere of legal conveyancing systems and digital client identity and client facing technology. To be considered for this Angular Developer position, you will have 5+ years solid experience in this role, and will be able to demonstrate experience on all of the below:

  • Javascript
  • Java 8
  • Maven & Spring Frameworks
  • SQL / PostgreSQL Database Management
  • APIs - specifically REST and SOAP
  • HTML, XML & CSS
  • Git
  • Desirable:
  • Elastic Beanstalk & AWS Deployment environment
  • Apache Tomcat
  • SMTP
  • Document Standards - PDF / DOCX
  • Twilio / telecom interface solutions
  • Oracle Developer Certifications
  • AWS Developer Certifications
  • As an Angular Developer, you will be responsible to:
  • Develop and maintain new and existing bespoke IT systems in accordance with specification.
  • Work with the IT team to develop and maintain links between internal IT systems web sites and web-based systems.
  • Advise IT Manager and/or Senior Management Team, as appropriate, on design and development issues.
  • Support IT Manager in meeting deadlines for provision of systems and documentation as required for the practice or 3rd parties.

  • Manage own work allocation, productivity, and quality of work with minimum supervision.
