Job Description

Accounts Assistant- NewportWould you like to be part of anambitious firm of people who are open-minded and seek means of achieving continual development and improvementWe are working with a UK top 20 accountancy firm, who are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role will be AAT/ ACA/ ACCA part qualified/ qualified and have experience working with Xero. You will also need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for our clients - Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements - Managing client accounts and ensuring that all payments and receipts are recorded correctly - Liaising with clients and providing advice on financial matters - Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and other tax-related documents - Ensuring that all financial records are kept in compliance with relevant regulations and legislation To be successful in this role, you need: - AAT/ ACA/ ACCA part qualified/ qualified - Experience working with Xero - Excellent organisational and time-management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines In return for your hard work and dedication, we will offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role with a fantastic team then we would love to hear from you.Apply by sending your CV to
