One of UKs top 20 charted accountants is recruiting a Qualified Accountant to join its growing team in the Newport officeJob Description* To prepare statutory Financial Statements for Audit Exempt Limited Companies* To build client relationships* Preparation and completion of audit exempt Limited Company accounts* Review colleagues work and provide support to others* Dealing with tasks on a timely basis* To build client relationships Preparation and completion of Limited Company accounts* Review colleagues work and provide support to others* Preparation of management accounts* Preparation of VAT Returns under different VAT schemes* Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients* Experience with Xero, Sage Line 50 and other products * Ability to reconcile all control accounts* Understanding of Companies Act disclosures for Financial Statements* Ability to work unsupervisedPerson specificationsThe candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a practice setting as well as experience in:* Preparation audit exempt company accounts;* Dealing with tasks on a timely basis* Communication i.e speaking with client and colleagues* Reviewing other peoples work and teaching others* Enthusiasm coupled with drive and determination* Previous use of CCH software - Not essential;* Knowledge of VAT;The working week: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) to be worked from 8.30AM to 5.00PM with flexibility of hours to meet specific demands.
