Job Description

Cordant People Newport are currently recruiting a 360 Excavator Operator on behalf of a Construction company that cover South Wales.The position is full-time Monday to Friday - 45 hours a week - 7.30am - 5pm.The client is looking for the following:

  • You will have a current valid CPCS Ticket - Excavator 360 Above and Below 10 tonne Tracked and Wheeled, Lifting Ops.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in managing the machine is preferred due to the nature of the role.
  • Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be advantageous.
  • Lifting ops will also be advantageous.
  • Experience on Civils projects.
  • Strong work ethic in a team.
    • The duties for this role are as follows but not limited to:
  • Safe operation of an excavator.
  • Handling and/or moving material.
  • Knowledge of the excavator requirements including lifting operations.
  • Effectively communicate to all site personnel.
  • Maintain daily logs.
  • Daily maintenance of equipment.
  • Identify, report and correct hazards.
  • Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
  • You will be required to help out with the general site works when not operating a machine.
