Being a manufacturing supervisor or manager with an electrical background you know how important compliance is and how critical it is to ensure products meet and adhere to the relevant regulations and legislations. Your future employer is an engaging, manufacturingbusiness who is looking for someone that can lead and develop a small team and take responsibility for signing off electrical designs Start Date: ASAP Location: Newmarket, Suffolk Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Bupa Healthcare, Free onsite parking , quarterly bonus scheme, company social events What you will be doing: - Managing, mentoring and supporting a team of 3 Technical Engineers - Responsible for signing off electrical designs, across dual voltage (UK & US) ensuring that the compliance and standards are up to date - Using your working knowledge of CE, UKCA, UL508 and BS EN 61439 and BS EB 60204 standards to ensure all products reach these standards and are fully compliant to these regulations - Develop engineering strategies for the business to meet manufacturing objectives and customers operational needs - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of design and build from receipt of order through to test, delivery and final hand over to the end user - Working with internal departments including Production, Commercial and Procurement About you: - Have a degree in Electrical Engineering - Along with a knowledge of CE, UKCA, UL508 and BS EN 61439 and BS EB 60204 standards - Have strong leadership skills and be able to mentor and develop team members - Creative problem solving skills and strong planning skills - Excellent customer service and relationship skills - Good working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or a similar CAD package and experience using an ERP system If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
