NXTGEN are supporting a successful Manufacturing business based near Newmarket to recruit an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-4 month contract. This varied role will work within a small finance team, supporting the Finance Controller with all aspects of accounts and the efficient management of day to day accounting activities. As Management Accountant, you will take responsibility for the month end close, producing detailed Management Accounts packs with insights on performance vs plan. You will also support with technical submissions to HMRC, as well as the opportunity to review KPI reports, before reporting to operational teams.Key responsibilities of the role will include:* Production of month end Management Accounts with accompanying management information* Support with the production of statutory fillings including quarterly VAT submissions* Review company budgets and report on financial forecasts* Weekly dashboard reporting* Balance Sheet reconciliationsApplicants will ideally be fully qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in a similar Management Accounts role. Those candidates that are part qualified or qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply. You will demonstrate prior experience using Microsoft Navision and will also be confident using Excel. This role is available on an immediate start so candidates will need to be available at short notice to interview and commence work.
