Job Description

Contracts ManagerEast Anglia based up to £45,000 per annum plus company car or allowance.Do you want to manage several planned and reactive projectsDo you want to work in the Environmental construction consultancy covering the Northern regionBenefits Package

  • Basic salary up to £45,000
  • Company car or allowance
  • 33 days annual leave
  • Hybrid office and site based 2-3 days in each.
  • Pension after the qualifying period
  • Bonus based on individual performance up to 1 months’ salary.
Company Details
  • East Anglia based Environmental consultancy.
  • Carry out construction work such as sewage and pollution leaks.
  • Specialise construction contractor in the environmental sector.
  • Approved contractor and on several frameworks
  • Big variation in project size from a small spillage covering a few hundred pounds to a structure fire damage project circa £300k.
  • Office based in Newmarket but does include travel to site.
Are you
  • Experienced in construction management including structural repairs.
  • Looking for a diverse varied role
  • Able to review projects and offer solutions including structural repairs.
  • Looking to work in a small team that offers an excellent working environment.
The RoleThe Contracts Manager will
  • Carry out site visits to review the work to be carried out.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and direct trades to plan and coordinate the work.
  • Client facing to discuss the programme.
  • Ensure projects are profitable and be commercially aware of site costs.
  • Liaise with loss adjusters to discuss the work to be varied out.
  • H&S responsibility
  • Quality control on site and ensure all documents / proof of work is recorded.
  • Work closely with the commercial team
