They operate a supportive culture and have a fantastic opportunity to join their loyal and ever-expanding team in the Newmarket area.The RoleWe are seeking an Architectural Assistant or Junior CAD technician to join a dedicated and professional team engaged in planning, design, drawing and related work. The role will entail working closely with Architects and Technicians developing your own skillsfurther.The salary is between £25,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience with great long-term career opportunities. This positionis a full-time, permanent role.The main duties include; Assisting in the preparation of and understanding of structural and detail drawings using ArchiCAD / AutoCAD / Revit Assisting in the preparation of tenders and enquiries. Taking part in key project control procedures such as drawing issue and registrations Working with engineers to translate outline engineering proposals to detailed design drawings Liaise with other members of the team to understand the requirements of the projectOther duties as described on the JD to be providedYou will have; Some AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD skills Understanding of building practices and construction methods Minimum 1-year relevant proven experience Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) A desire to work as part of a friendly and competent team Energy and motivation to succeed Good organisation skills Excellent IT skills including working experience of Microsoft OfficeElite Staffing Solutions are acting as an employment agency for this role.
