A highly reputable and successful firm of chartered accountants based in Newmarket is searching for a Accounts Senior to join their team as a key addition in a mixed accounts/tax and wider service support role to the managerial/partner group with opportunityto carve an influential role with a progression and career path on offer.Client DetailsBased in Newmarket this well established Top 50 practice has developed a strong reputation for quality service, with a very wide ranging client based across Cambridgshire, the wider UK and further afield. The firm has very wide ranging clients with largercorporates and equestrian clients, whilst with a focus working with varied HNWIs, partnerships and limited companies, up into the £millions in turnover. They are also developing their online services, expanding the Xero and cloud accounting offering acrossthe firm and clients, embracing the changes and developments within the profession.Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate. The firm offers hybrid working with good mix of home to office working on offer, flexible hours highly competitive benefits and salary packages.DescriptionKey Responsibilities for this Accounts Senior role:

  • You will be the senior, lead and manage the hands on delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries and turnover ranges.
  • You will develop client relationships, taking on increasing client portfolio and management responsibility, working on wider advisory/business services and delivering wider project work as you develop and carve a career within this firm.
  • A progression path is on offer and there is opportunity to carve an influential key role within this fast growing office, where you can really make your mark
ProfileFor the successful candidate for this Accounts Senior role:You may be qualified across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc, with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed withinan accountancy practice firm environment.You will have developed your career to around the Senior levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate, with mix of home to office and hybrid workingJob OfferWhat is on offer for the candidate
