We are delighted to be partnering with an industry leading, PE backed business based in Newmarket as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is a brand new position due to the continued growth and success of the businessand within the role, you will report into the FP&A Manager. This role offers hybrid working, with up to 2 days being able to be worked from home.As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:- Managing the sales ledger, including processing of sales invoices- Credit control and weekly aged debtor reporting- Reconciling customer statements- Processing of credit card payments- Covering Purchase Ledger in absence of colleagues- Additional duties as per the full job descriptionDue to the nature of this role, you must have previous experience working within accountancy in some capacity, with experience of sales ledger and credit control considered advantageous. Additional attributes you will ideally possess include:- Strong attention to detail- Ability to prioritise your workload in an efficient and effective manner- Excellent communication skills both on a written and verbal level- Good IT skills, particularly with strong knowledge of excelThis role is perfect for someone who enjoys working for a business with a strong culture and values.
