Job Description

Are you an experienced Claims HandlerAre you hands-on and enjoy the investigation of a claimIf you answered YES then we have the job for you!We are currently looking for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join our clients existing claims team which is full of dedicated, positive people who enjoy an environment focussed on teamwork and fun!You will receive an attractive salary package of up to £25k as well as excellent company benefits including subsidised gym membership, free on-site parking & much more!As a Claims Handler, you will be the first point of contact for customers who have suffered a loss following an incident involving their car. You will proactively manage the Policyholders/Third parties repairs throughout as well as Intervene on Third Parties claims.You will offer all services to repair the Third Parties vehicle when the Policyholder is at fault for the accident. You must be able to obtain the relevant details from them and record this information giving the customer excellent advice and assistance, whilst also assessing liability from the circumstances of the incident.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to our customers on making a claim and the processes involved.
  • Take reports of new insurance claims.
  • Manage Policyholder and Third parties’ repairs and hire.
  • Record accurately the information reported concerning the circumstances of the loss.
  • Be able to assess liability for an accident and offer advice to customers giving an objective opinion on prospects and where necessary, advise the customer regarding where liability will rest.
  • Ensuring the validation of cover is in force for a claim and identifying possible fraudulent claims.
  • Instructing suppliers such as Credit Hire & Credit repair organisations along with claimant Personal Injury solicitors.
  • Ensuring that the customer receives the highest level of customer service in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Advise policyholders of the add-on products they have purchased and how they may be used for the specific claim they have made.
  • Maintain Stabilis MGA extended underwriting guide.
  • Respond to Stabilis MGA underwriting referral enquiries from brokers.
