TrusteeWe are looking to recruit trustees at The Oaklea Trust, which is a charity (Registered Charity No 1091722) and its subsidiary Right2Work, which operate across the North of England. We work with a range of stakeholders and partners, seeking to provide thefinest support for people and communities in the kindest possible way so that they can learn, develop and thrive.We are looking for additional Trustee’s from across the North East of England to support our charity and the services that operate in County Durham and Northumberland. There will be occasional travel to attend quarterly board meetings in Kendal, Cumbriaand expenses will be covered by the Trust to support this.If you have experience and knowledge in strategic planning, corporate and charities law, fundraising, project management such as building design and planning then we would love to hear from you.We are in particular looking for people with strategic vision, independent judgement and a willingness to give time and commitment to being a trustee.The post of trustee is unpaid but will provide a great deal of experience and satisfaction. Trustees meet four times a year, and members of Board sub committees meet regularly.
