Job Description

Trainee Sales Manager (Engineering)£38,000 - £39,000 (OTE £46k) + Training + Bonus + Car Middlesborough (Covering North England)Are you a Engineer with a backgrund in Mechanics, Hydraulics or Pneumatics who is looking to get into a Sales based role, with tailored training and development opportunities, within a well-established and innovative companyAfter full training on Sales and systems you will develop new business across the North of England within the Engineering industry. You will oversee a portfolio of key accounts, being the first point of contact for sales and complaints. You will work from homeroughly 1-2 days per week and the rest will be spent attending client visits.Established in 1972, this company prides itself on their commitment to their employees. The company provides progression, ongoing support within the role, and a full training program. They are looking for candidates that are invested in starting and maintaininga long career within the company.The role would suit someone with an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid mechanics or similar, who is looking to either get into a sales-based role, or with previous experience in a sales or business development-based role.The Role:

  • Developing new business and maintaining a portfolio of key accounts within the engineering after full training
  • Remote based, covering a regional patch of the North of England
The Person:
  • Understanding of hydraulics / pneumatics / fluid mechanics
  • Looking to head up sales within a regional patch
