Job Description

Our client, an award winning financial company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Receptionist to join their team ASAP on a Temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional Reception and Customer Service skills, and exhibit a high levelof professionalism.Location: NewburnHours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pmStart date: ASAP for at least the next 4 weeksHourly rate: £11-£11.50ph paid on a weekly basis through Office AngelsResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for warmly greeting and welcoming visitors. This involves providing a friendly demeanour, assisting with any initial inquiries, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas or personnel.
  • Manage incoming calls, either by directly addressing inquiries or forwarding calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Receiving and distributing incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Ensuring that the reception area is neat, organised, and presentable. This includes arranging reading materials and maintaining a clean work space.
  • Managing access to the office building by providing visitors with badges, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter restricted areas, and following security protocols.
  • Keeping visitor logs, maintain sign-in sheets, and update databases with visitor information for security and reporting purposes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and clients
Overall, this role is vital in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for anyone who interacts with the organisation, whether in person or over the phone.Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Reception experience is desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining a clean and organised meeting environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure a smooth and successful meeting experience.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed client expectations.
