Morgan Hunt are working throughout the summer to recruit a talent pool of passionate Teacher Trainers who are looking for new roles in September. Were anticipating a huge influx of vacancies as the new academic year starts and are keen to speak with younow to ensure we have all your needs covered.The Teacher Trainer will be responsible for: Delivering the full Further Education and Training specification in Teacher Training Planning and coordinating lessons, resources and support to enable learners to achieve their qualifications Using the Colleges online systems to track progress and attendance Quality delivery of interactive lessons to learners with clear lesson objectives Motivate and inspire learners using up-to-date teaching methodology Set and monitor regular, challenging homework in line with student abilities Keep in line with quality assurance (collect learner views, lesson observation, working through action plan) Attend meetings and any training days/inset days Ensure accurate completion of class registers at all times, stay on top of admin work and marking Any other duties as required by the CollegeThe Teacher Trainer will: Have substantial experience the Further Education and Training sector Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS, PCET, PGCE or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education) Have previous experience working as a Teacher Trainer and a successful track record in retention and achievement Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in the subject area Hold GCSEs in both Maths and English, at grade A-C or equivalent A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding teaching Be able to travel to, in and around the Newcastle areaIn return the successful candidate for the Teacher Trainer role will receive: A generous hourly rate, depending on experience Free CPD training opportunities Opportunity to apply for permanent positions within the College, at the first instance Any other benefits offered by the CollegeIf you are passionate in the delivery of high quality teaching, match the above criteria, are looking for a new role in September and are based in and around Newcastle, please apply now!
