Job Description

We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view and believe diversity drives innovation, so were building aculture where difference is valued.The RoleThe Sustainability Executive reports to the Corporate Responsibility Manager and works closely with the EMEA Head of Sustainability assisting in the administration, implementation and coordination of Environmental sustainability initiatives across NortonRose Fulbright LLP.Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the ongoing support and implementation of Norton Rose Fulbrights sustainability strategy ensuring the programme aligns with Norton Rose Fulbrights business principles: Quality, Unity and Integrity.
  • Assist the Norton Rose Fulbright LLP Sustainability Committee with the implementation of Norton Rose Fulbright LLPs sustainability programme across EMEA.
  • Coordination and administrative support to the sustainability programme including managing data collection for internal reporting purposes ensuring consistency & clarity and on direction of the Corporate Responsibility Manager, coordinating internal processesfor data collation for external reporting by partners & external memberships.
  • Be seen as a champion and encourage the sustainability interests within Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and co-ordinate projects to reflect these interest.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external sustainability consultants
  • Managing data collection and reporting of carbon emissions and forming best practice processes
  • Liaising with office managers and facilities teams across the EMEA region in order to effectively manage data for the firms carbon reporting platform keeping to monthly deadlines
  • Working with the Internal Communications team to coordinate communications such as plasma screens, news articles and intranet carousels in order to promote sustainability events and initiatives
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for employees with an interest in or query about sustainability work.
  • Support the Corporate Responsibility Manager in working with the bids team in relation to requests for sustainability input
  • Support the Corporate Responsibility Manager in completing supplier questionnaires and sustainability assessments/reports e.g Ecovadis
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience of sustainability data collation & management and knowledge/experience of environmental management systems
  • Desire to learn about & help grow the sustainability function at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP
  • Administration experience with high level competence in excel, word
  • Ability to support multiple competing priorities
  • A passion for corporate social responsibility and sustainability
  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to use initiative
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
