Support Worker£9.00 per hourNewcastleFull-time, 37.5 hours per weekDo you find yourself naturally caring for others Are you able to motivate others in a consistent and calm manner Are you able to think on your feet If so, this may be the team for you!Were looking for fantastic local people to join our outstanding support teams in the NE4 area of Newcastle where we currently support a lady and a gentleman in their 60s and 70s. They enjoy going to the cinema, going shopping, eating out, going to the theatreand taking part in pottery making activities. These are all interests theyre hoping to continue once the current government restrictions ease.They both have learning disability and require support when in the community. Your role will be to support them with her daily routines to include prompting with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks. If youre a positive and committed personwith a passion for supporting others to live the life they want to live, then wed love to hear from you.Shifts can vary and may change from time to time depending on the changing needs of the people you are supporting. Currently we provide support through 24-hour shifts starting at 9am one day and finishing at 9am the following day with a sleep from 10pm 8am included. As we provide support 7 days a week, 365 days a week, were looking for people who can be as flexible as possible and work a combination of weekdays, weekends and your share of the bank holidays.It is a requirement of this position that you hold, or are willing to obtain, an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
