Job Description

Job title Support WorkerLocation Newcastle (Woolsington)Pay£12.00 per hour MinimumHoursFull or part time available.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of a Support Worker in theWoolsington area of Newcastle. Shifts times are 15.30pm to 08.30am Monday to Thursday.We are looking for a flexible, driven, committed and reliable individual to work with our client who has an acquired brain injury and some complex needs.Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate: £15.00 per hour, £16 at weekend.
  • Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16.00 with very occasional weeke
  • Weekly pay.

Client and role -Complex care support for a young man who equires support with all activities of daily living, including moving & handling, medication administration, food preparation and personal care. He loves the park, cinema and other recreational acitivises.
  • Taking the client swimming
  • Taking the client out on walks
  • Experience with Cerebral Palsy (Desirable)
  • Experience with Epilepsy
  • Knowledge of supporting an individual with insulin dependent diabetes and epilepsy
