AK Teaching are looking to recruit a support worker to work in one of our partner SEN schools in Jesmond, Newcastle with an immediate start until the end of the academic year with a view to lead into September.You will be working with learners with a range of different special educational needs including Autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties.The role will involve personal care, so it is important that you are comfortable in this type of environment.The school hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm, if you are not looking for 5 days per week please still get in touch as we may be able to accommodate.The ideal candidate must:-have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant checks-have experience within a support working environment or a similar background-be resilient and confident-be comfortable with personal care
