The CompanyDelighted to be supporting a fast growing tech business with offices in Teesside and Newcastle. Over the last 4 years this company have designed, developed and sold an exciting range of products to a new market, giving their customers a significant advantageand taking a massive market share in the process.The RoleThis role will be joining a multi-discipline team of around 30 and take specific responsibility for the support and development of the SQL database. The the role will involve working on the existing SQL platform and planning for a move to a maintenance-lightfuture using technologies such as Serverless, NoSQL, Redis or new caching processes.The PersonCandidates need to have a background working as a SQL DBA, preferably with some good SQL development skills. Any exposure to serverless, Redis, NoSQL or similar would be beneficial however you will need to demonstrate an interest in moving the company in thatdirection. Experience with SSIS is preferred as the role will ideally not be dealing with production DBA tasksThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company who are already in a very strong position.Theyre looking to redevelop their existing product range and also move into new markets so its an exciting time to join the business.Salary would be up to £60,000 and they are open to some remote working.
