Job Description

Title: GRADUATE: Spanish Social Media Community RepLocation: Initially WFH. Eventually this role will be a part office-based position in Newcastle city centreLanguage: Spanish/EnglishSector: Entertainment Salary : Total compensation of £20,698 + 22 days holiday and other excellent benefits ( this is made up of a base of £19,344 + 7% bonus)Hours: Flexible working environment Mon-Friday 9.30-6pm Company This is one of the best-known video games companies in the world and they are looking for a switched-on graduate who loves video games and is looking to enter this very fast-growing sector. Your role "sits" between the Production team (who actually create the games) and the gaming community itself. Your role will be to actively engage with players to ensure that they stay excited about the game and to pre-empt any issues. There are truly outstanding career opportunities here and you will use your languages on a daily basis ensuring that players have the best experience and the most fun.DutiesYou will drive conversations and monitor community engagement for specific video games and will monitor and help to organise community interactions and forums across various social media networks including Facebook. Twitter and various blogs. You will also liaise with other community managers to help enrich the lives of players with a unique and memorable gaming experience.

  • Support community managers delivering their strategy at regional level.
  • Regular qualitative and quantitative reporting on community conversation.
  • Gather, analyse and present relevant feedback from the community to Managers.
  • Monitor and respond on all relevant Social Media, in particular Facebook, Twitter and Forums.
  • Regularly engage with players at a 1:1 level, encouraging discussion to contribute towards the growth of the community on a regional level.
  • Manage local forums by building their structure, overseeing moderation, publishing regularly some content using HTML and photoshop
  • Demo products at tradeshows if applicable.
  • Handle news localizations and proofreading with high quality standards.
  • Requirements
  • Fluent Spanish
  • Previous experience with social media
  • A real interest in video games
  • Settled status (or pre-settled)
  • Commutable to North East England (Newcastle, Durham, Stockton. Darlington, York)
