Job Description

Site AgentPay: £500520 per day Via Umbrella PAYE (No CIS/LTD)Location: Newcastle upon TyneDuration: 12 months plusMy client is a top tier 1 contractors working on a rail project in the north east. They are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to join the team to assist them with Civil works on the project.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Site Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers objectives.
  • The Site Agent will be required to maintain the standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
  • Subcontract Management
  • Competent in the delivery of station works subcontract packages
  • Delivering packages of work safely, on time and to budget
  • Complying with subcontract management processes
  • Quality Management
  • Managing the collation of quality/handover documentation
  • Working with the design team to ensure client and subcontract designs are buildable, coordinated and to specification
  • Management of Staff
  • Manage a team of direct reports to deliver packages within the section
  • Promote personal / professional development within the team
  • Manage good and poor performance
  • Continually challenging self and others to deliver excellence
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or equivalent in civil engineering
  • Previous Site Agent engineering experience
  • Previous Civil Works experience on Rail projects (must)
  • Experience in drainage, earthworks, heavy civil works.
  • All round experience within Rail i.e. Bridges, Station, Civils, Structures
