Job Description

Senior Recruitment Specialist A global powerhouse within the professional services industry is looking for a Senior Recruitment Specialist to join their team in Newcastle on an initial 6 month contract with the view to work in a hybrid way.ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibility of the Recruiting Specialist Specialist (Apprenticeships & Employability Programmes) is the sourcing and selection of diverse early engagement talent to fill a high volume of roles across our Apprenticeships and Employability Programmes. The Recruitment Specialist will develop innovative sourcing strategies to ensure we attract diverse high-quality talent to meet business need. There is also overall responsibility for the designand delivery of employability programmes to provide insight into roles. All programmes are based in the regions and run, with consistent end to end support from the recruiter.Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Understanding of the Early Talent Recruitment Market, competitor awareness and student job search trends
  • Detailed knowledge of local UK market conditions and early engagement recruiting processes especially focused on apprenticeship, and traineeships, or working with young people in education or charities.
  • Working Knowledge of UK Apprenticeship Funding Rules and Regulations
  • Understanding of working in a fast-paced, professional services environment
  • Knowledge of early engagement trends, particularly with regards apprenticeships and employability programmes
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship recruitment marketing strategies and ability to manage multiple pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Selection, Interviewing and Assessment best practice, including data privacy and equal opportunities
