The CompanyThis company has been established for over 200 years and are looking to grow their software department, with a new exciting performance testing position.They operate on a hybrid working model where you are expected to come into the office for quarterly meetings.Benefits:

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, this is a hands-on testing position working within software development.
  • The QA will need to support Automation testers with framework improvements.
  • Guiding testers with testing techniques and approaches, reviewing code, pair programming, presenting technical proof of concepts, support testers with technical and help find solutions.
  • The ability to demonstrate new concepts & communicate up & down.
  • Takes ownershipof the testing strategy.
  • Ensures the test team are following best testing practices.
Role/Requirements
  • Hands on Performance Testing experience& ability to write new frameworks.
  • Experienced with different types of performance testing such as Stress, Load, Soak.
  • Familiar with technologies such as Gatling, K6, JMeter, LoadNinja, BlazeMeter.
  • Analyse a system and understand the type of framework needed & which tests are suitable for front-end and back-end services.
  • Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) or experienced with Cypress.
  • Experienced with Selenium.
  • Shift Left Testing.
  • CI/CD - Automation into the pipeline with preferably Azure DevOps or AWS.
  • Knowledge of working with large data sets would be an advantage.
  • Understanding / experience of Contract testing.
