Job Description

Brierley J is working for a North East Developer who gets involved across multiple sectors including commercial, leisure, retail, industrial, infrastructure, energy and marine with a mixture of conversions, refurbishments and newbuild projects.They need someone to manage projects from £5 - 10m from concept to handover with a focus on the preconstruction phase. The role will support the investment team by evaluating land and buildings, interpreting site constraints and appraising development proposals.Day to day duties will include:

  • Manage design teams, the design process, planning process and construction process
  • Produce project status reports for small/medium projects and assist with reports on larger projects
  • Advise on the definition of project scope, budget, program, procurement goals and deliverables.
  • Procuring consultants and contractors
  • Manage and coordinate external disciplined teams, reading drawings and specifications
