Do you want to lead a fast growing innovative design teamWe are working with one of the fastest growing SaaS based organisations in the North East, a fast paced environment, our client are keen to find a Software product designer who is all about design, UX and UI.You will be part of a hard working team of product designers which includes another lead designer who is keen to learn from a more senior experienced mentor. You will be working under a head of products and working with 3 product managers and 2 designers.This job may involve a combination of work from home and time spent in an office. More information about this flexible arrangement can be covered during the interview process.What you will do in this role:

• Be a main part of the Product team and get involved in all aspects of the product design process, from the early stages of concept development through the end of the product duration.
• To promote user research and use this information to inform our product choices. To make sure that the entire product experience meets the needs of our users, you will collaborate closely with the product managers.
• Work closely with engineers to make sure the concepts you helped generate are executed as you had planned, and if that is not possible, modify your designs to deliver the value for the customer while still being achievable.
• To as teams leader and guide for other, less experienced designers on the team.
• To always be looking for ways to improve our overall design approach and strategy.

Skills that you should have:

• You have experience in UX and UI design, and user research
• You have worked in environments that require complex data entry and workflows as well as data presentation/dashboards.
• You have knowledge of HTML/CSS and can use this to make small specific adjustments to web pages.
• You are aware of various kinds of user research techniques and have been exposed to them, even if you have not performed the research yourself.
• You have worked on a variety of projects and can display versatility in delivering a wide range of different types of experiences.
• You have worked extensively with wireframing, prototyping, written specifications, user scenarios and interaction design.
• You believe in rapid prototyping, learning fast and instinctively want to talk to the user as soon as practically possible.
• You have good communication and presentation skills.
